Attorney
M. Paul Fischer
Founder · Managing Attorney
M. Paul Fischer founded the Law Firm of M. Paul Fischer, PC in 1985 after several years in a downtown Phoenix litigation firm. He opened the Court Street office with a single secretary, a typewriter, and a handful of cases. Today, with a small team of associates and paralegals, the firm represents clients throughout Mesa, Phoenix, Gilbert, Chandler, and Tempe.
Paul's practice spans family law, personal injury, criminal defense, Social Security Disability, and estate planning. He has earned the respect of judges, opposing counsel, and clients across four decades of Arizona practice, and has been recognized by his peers for his preparation and his courtroom composure.
Beyond the practice of law, Paul has been active in civic and business leadership throughout Arizona. He was appointed by the Governor on two separate occasions to serve the State — including participation in the distribution of Title IX funds to emerging businesses, appointment to a committee related to the Arizona Cardinals stadium site, and service as vice chair of the committee involved in approving and identifying the site for the Arizona Diamondbacks. He has also served as President of the Chamber of Commerce and in president and leadership roles for a number of professional and community organizations.
Paul remains an active, practicing attorney in Arizona. In anticipation of retirement, the firm is not currently accepting new matters and has referred, and will continue to refer, new work to other counsel. Paul continues to be available to existing and former clients regarding their cases and matters.
