Why Fischer Law

The difference is in how we practice.

Six commitments that have shaped the firm for four decades — and that shape every matter still on our desks today.

Forty Years of Experience

Since 1985, M. Paul Fischer has represented Arizonans across four practice areas — with a reputation earned in the courtroom, not on television.

Compassionate Representation

The matters we handle arrive in people's lives at hard moments. We listen first, and we treat every client the way we would want a parent or child treated.

Personalized Legal Strategy

No form pleadings, no cookie-cutter engagements. Every strategy is built around the specific facts, people, and stakes in front of us.

Transparent Communication

Every engagement begins with a written letter spelling out scope, fee, and the manner of billing. Calls are returned the same business day.

Courtroom-Ready, Always

Most matters resolve short of trial — but they resolve on better terms when the file across the table belongs to a firm that tries cases.

Arizona-Focused Knowledge

Four decades of practice in Maricopa County means we know the local judges, the local rules, and the local courthouses by name.

Since 1985

A small firm by design. Available by intention.

When you call our office, you reach a person who knows your file. M. Paul Fischer personally meets with every new client. Our associates support him under his direct supervision — and your matter receives the attention it deserves at every stage.

Is the first consultation really free?

Yes. We meet with you in person, by phone, or by video at no charge. We will tell you candidly whether we believe we can help.

Personal injury, wrongful death, and Social Security Disability matters are handled on a contingency basis. Family law, estate planning, and criminal defense are typically flat-fee or hourly with a written engagement letter.

What if I cannot come to your office?

Most new matters are scheduled within 48 hours. Urgent matters — protective orders, arraignments, deadlines — are handled the same day.

Who will actually work on my case?

M. Paul Fischer personally meets with every new client. Our associates support him under his direct supervision.

Do you handle matters outside Maricopa County?

On a case-by-case basis. Long-standing clients have been represented in Pinal, Yavapai, and Pima counties as well.
